Dr. Mouriño-Ruiz is a U.S. Air Force veteran. He has over 30 years of broad industry experience including the U.S. Air Force, utilities, aerospace and defense, IT, and medical. Dr. Mouriño has led or contributed to a variety of organizational culture change initiatives ranging from leadership development, team dynamics and development, learning and development, diversity, customer service, and change management.
A seasoned multi-industry Human Resources Development (HRD) professional, he is a graduate of the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI), a DOD school dedicated to diversity and EEO issues.
Edwin has served as an Executive Coach, and both as a leader and consultant in organizations. He has held Assistant Professor and Adjunct positions at Rollins College and Webster University working with both graduate and undergraduate students.
He is the author of numerous articles on the growing Latino Millennial demographic and workforce and its impact on organizations. He has also authored or co-edited several books, including The Perfect Human Capital Storm: Workplace Challenges and Opportunities in the 21st Century, Leading Diversity in the 21st Century, and Gringo-Latino: Historias/Stories of Pursuing El Sueño Americano/American Dream.
Edwin has spoke at numerous conferences and events, including the IT CIO Symposium, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), the Hispanic Engineer National Achievement Awards Corporation (HENAAC), The Futurist Conference, Society for Human Resources (SHRM), Association for Talent Development (ATD), and the Corporate University (CUX) among others.
