Our History

Our company was started in 1970 by our founder, Kaleel Jamison. Many of her first clients were struggling with women moving out of roles of secretary to other roles in organizations. She dealt with many men-women interaction issues as well as other challenges organizations faced with the changing workforce.

Fred Miller joined Kaleel in 1979. A pioneer regarding addressing the new workforce that was emerging in organizations. He helped the firm keep and enhance its focus on the added value of people resulting in organizations being higher performing. That remains a cornerstone of KJCG’s purpose.

Judith Katz joined KJCG in 1985, shortly after Kaleel passed away. Judith and Fred worked together as KJCG saw major transformations in society and how organizations needed to respond and could gain from those changes.

By the late 80s, they knew that organizations having and supporting people, and their differences, was important, and inclusion was the HOW to gain from that experience. KJCG has been an innovator in the field of organizational change and thought leadership in the past 50 years.
