Fred named Emeritus Board Member of One World Everybody Eats

One World Everybody Eats is a cause that has been close to Fred Miller, KJCG’s CEO, for a number of years now. OWEE is “dedicated to increasing food security and building community through the pay-what-you-can nonprofit restaurant model. One World Everybody Eats (OWEE) is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt, non-profit organization dedicated to increasing food security and building community through its pay-what-you-can nonprofit restaurant model.  It supports more than 60 existing and dozens of start-up cafes in its network with expert consultation, best practices, and networking opportunities. OWEE Founder Denise Cerreta accepted the 2017 James Beard Humanitarian of the Year Award on behalf of the network of community cafes.”

After over 10 years of serving on the Board of Directors for OWEE, Fred’s term ended at the annual Summit in January 2019. Fred has moved to the position of Emeritus Board Member. In honor of the years of service and dedication to the organization, OWEE created the Frederick A. Miller Spirit Award to be given out at future summits.
